Al-Za’em Al-Azhar University relies in its academic system on the modified credit hours system, which is a system based on the student obtaining a number of credit hours in each academic semester, so that the total number of credit hours he successfully obtains in all academic semesters qualifies him.

  Faculty of medicine:

The college operates on a modified credit-hours system, and the college follows the integrated approach towards society, and the method of self-learning and problem solving. The student graduates after studying the credit hours according to the integrated study plan during ten semesters, after which he is awarded a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery.
