Two postgraduate programs are currently provided by the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Azaeim Alazhari University. These are:- 

1. Master of Science Program and Doctor of Philosophy Program in Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology by research

1. Doctor of Philosophy Program (PhD)in Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology 

• These two program’s in biochemistry and molecular biology allow for specialization depending on your goals. 

• Areas of research include, gene silencing and microRNAs, human diseases including diabetes and cancer, nanotechnology and nanomedicine, and protein misfolding and aggregation diseases.

• Five graduates have accomplished from these programs. Also there are many students enrolled in our postgraduates and there are many proposals submitted for approval by the department.
