This department had been established since the birth of the faculty of Medicine - Al Zaiem AL Azhari University, as separate entity with its own courses and objectives with shadowing between other departments' courses .
The objectives :
1. Clear orientation about imaging physics of all lmaging
modalities.
2. Differences between imaging modalities.
3. Interpretation of simple common and urgent cases.
4. To choose the best modality for each case.
5. To make use of imaging for proper conclusive diagnoses.
6. To make use of and utilization of lmaging investigation and avoiding unnecessary requests.
7. To request images in harmony with imaging spesalist or clinician.
